I am Edwin Nikkels, founder of Studio Nikkels. I work at the intersection of creativity and technology, drawing from experience across entertainment, branding, interactive media, and education. I bring clarity, direction, and calm when creative ambition and technological change meet real-world challenges.

AI producer - Hands-on production for AI-generated or hybrid audiovisual content. I coordinate the creative approach, establish a workable process, and assemble the right talent for each project. As AI is far from perfect, I safeguard authorship and quality from concept to execution.

Method
My work is guided by Creative Intelligence - a way of working in which human creativity leads and machine intelligence supports or executes. I don’t begin with tools or trends. I begin with intent, story, and authorship - what we want to say, how meaning is shaped, and who decides. From there, technology is used to extend creative possibilities, accelerate making, and reduce friction - not to decide what matters, but to help meaningful ideas take shape.

Work
This is an experimental film for Greenpeace that translates climate-data into visual form. Using data visualisation as storytelling, the ad turns abstract numbers into something you can feel, so urgency becomes visible, not just measurable: "When you can see it, you can change it".
